Deconstructivism Architecture

This is a style of architectural designed structures, which at first glance seem as an assembly of unrelated bits and pieces, that seem to distort the buildings shape and envelope. Each of the structures elements are manipulated to form an construction of shapes which are unpredictable and develop a visual effect of chaos. This is a postmodernist style of architecture which began in the late 1980's. Two of my favourite examples of Deconstructivism Architecture is
Libeskind's Imperial War Museum North in Manchester comprises three apparently intersecting curved volumes. & my favourite Vitra Design Museum by Frank Gehry, Weil am Rhein. The above images are examples of such architecture.
